How I Work.

Therapy, like life, is rarely a straight line. Healing has its own rhythm, and I believe in honoring that. My role is to walk alongside you — sometimes slowing things down so you can notice, digest, and truly integrate what’s coming up, rather than rushing past it. Progress doesn’t always mean speed; it means depth, presence, and staying with what matters.

I come from a depth-oriented and trauma-informed background, and I am training in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-based approach founded by Peter A. Levine, PhD. Somatic work allows us to tune into the body’s wisdom—because so much of what we carry shows up not just in our thoughts and emotions, but in our nervous system and physical patterns.

At the same time, I’m a bit of a “mixed bag”. I draw from a range of modalities—narrative therapy, experiential, relational work, and parts work—because no two people need the exact same thing, and often no two sessions do either. Each approach brings its own set of tools, and woven together they create a space for curiosity, exploration, and meaningful insight.

In our work together, you can expect me to meet you exactly where you’re at. I’ll get curious with you, invite us to look beneath the surface, and help get to the roots of what you’re carrying. I’ll also ask for patience and accountability—healing takes time, and your commitment to showing up matters.

I see clients once a week for 50-minute sessions, creating a consistent space for you to land, reflect, and grow. My approach is equal parts compassionate, direct, and (when it’s needed) lighthearted—because sometimes humor can be the perfect companion when the work feels heavy.
